Google Game Solution!

I know, it's been over a year since my last post. Pathetic.

I don't know if I've ever posted on this blog about the Google Game, but this is what it is. You have to find two search terms that together have exactly one google result. It is shockingly easy to achieve 0 Google result, but finding a Google Game solution can be quite difficult. However, completely by luck I just discovered one.

Quotation marks are only allowed around each word in order to turn off google's feature that automagically finds any form of the word.

It is a strange thing to write a blog post about this, because if google can find those two words on this blog page, I have ruined the solution. I could try just putting spaces in between the letters but for maximum security I'll do it vertically:
(A) (G)
(R) (E)
(R) (O)
(A) (M)
(S) (A)
(S) (G)
(E) (N)
(D) (E)
       (T)
       (I)
       (C)
       (A)
       (L)
       (L)
       (Y)

Oh right. I have a blog.

Epic fail to post this month during NaNoWriMo. Weird, usually this is the time of year when I have the most to talk about on here, but like often, I forgot that I had this. Darn.

Anyway, I finished NaNo (and wrote an extra 2k because my story wasn't finished). I'm so unhappy with my story, however, that I may not edit it at all, and at least not for a long time. It had a bit of promise near the beginning, but then it just kind of broke apart. In other writing news, I'm planning to write (very slowly and only when I am inspired) an anthology of short stories, so that I can:
a. Continue to write outside of NaNoWriMo, which makes me feel like much less of a 1/12th writer.
b. Write something that's deep philosophically and metaphorically (not at all possible when writing fast).

I'll try to update on my progress. I barely have even one story planned so I have quite a way to go.

Hello Again

Day: 4
Words Written Today: 2,733
Total Word Count: 15,268

School is taking away my momentum!

This is an interesting experiment because I'm writing this post in the stressful moments before a word war. Aaaaaahhhh!

Day 3 and I lied

Day: 3
Words Written Today: 3,680
Total Word Count: 12, 535

I'll probably just post these the day after so I don't have to do it super late at night.

And, you might be wondering, what did I lie about? It was in yesterday's blog post. That did count as a blog post, and so does this. (Maybe I should stop finding loopholes in my own contests...)

Day 2

This isn't my blog post, just telling you guys how I did yesterday.
Day: 2
Words Written Today: 7,030 (!)
Total Word Count: 8,855 (!)
So yeah, yesterday was pretty good.

Friday, November 2, 2012

Oh, and by the way...

I'll be keeping track of my word count each day, like this:

Day: 1
Words Written Today: 1,825
Total Word Count: 1,825

I'll post Day 2 later, once I'm finished.

Meh

See the title? That's exactly how I feel right now.
This blog seems sad, in a way. It's a graveyard of posts promising non-existent posts. I feel bad that I don't give it any attention, and that I only even remembered that I had it by seeing it in my own NaNoWriMo forum signature. That's why I'm writing this. I'm hoping that this won't just become another empty promise, but I am now making a commitment to ZeWriBloPoMo (say that 10 times fast) as well as NaNoWriMo. ZeWriBloPoMo: Zeb Writes Blog Posts Month. Hopefully I can post something, as crappy as it may be (again, following the NaNo theme) each and every day of this month. As you can tell, I already missed the first day, but we're just going to pretend that it didn't count.
